Your Guides
Tamy
Mountainbike instructor
& bike guide
Tamy’s roots are Italian. She is a certified Mountainbike instructor and speaks 6 languages! She works Fulltime as a bike guide. Tamy loves Italian food, especially her grandmother’s pie! Fortunately she’s got the recipe.
Bert
Mountainbike instructor
& Bootcamp Trainer
Bert is 100% Dutch, a certified Mountainbike instructor and speaks 3 languages. He works as a biking guide (road bike, mountain bike and tour bike) and as a kettlebell/bootcamp trainer. Bert loves his espresso and croissant in the morning. That’s basically how he starts every mountainbike ride.
Max
Mountainbike
instructor
Max is 100% Italian and also a certified Mountainbike instructor. He speaks 2 languages and has more than 20 years of experience! He eats half a pie every morning for breakfast…… (the other half is for his son who, by the way, is a very talented biker).
Program
People always told us how much they liked the fact that it’s not only about pushing your pedals up a hill. We like to take time to enjoy the cultural beauty the region has to offer, inspiring conversations and amazing food and wine. That’s why we would like to name our tour a Mountainbike holiday.

For whom suitable
What level are we talking about?
If you are an experienced biker you will be up for it! But what is the definition of an experienced biker? If you are able to ride 60 km a day with approx 1000m elevation you will be very able to do the tour. And actually enjoy it…….. The daily routine is pretty “relaxed”, there is no hurry. We take time to enjoy the beautiful scenery. And of course we enjoy a nice coffee break.
We prefer to start relatively early, but that’s because of the temperature. It can become pretty hot during the day. In the morning it is nice and cool, so
that’s the perfect time to start. During the ride we have options. If we see we need to make it shorter or longer we can easily change the route. This also applies for the technical part of the ride. If you want more technical challenge we can make it happen.
Summarized:
- Physical level: ca 60 km and ca 1000 m (38 miles and 3280 ft)
- Technical level: asphalt, dirt road, single tracks, rocky sections, small drops, uphill as well as in downhill situations.
- Your bike handling skills should be adequate to confront these situations.
- You have to be able to use breaks the way you should, be able to make an emergency stop, manoeuvre relatively tight turns. It is absolutely not a problem if you prefer to walk certain parts of the ride, if you don’t feel safe. We actually recommend you to do that.
- During our bike fitting session on the first day we also do a techniquesession to improve our bike handling skills.
